Salvaged French Door Pantry Cabinet

This cabinet is made from a set of salvaged french doors that were stripped, sanded, and repainted in a deep charcoal/black, satin oil paint.

The cabinet and bracket feet are crafted from solid hickory wood and finished in a clear, satin polyurethane. Hickory wood is very hard and dense, usually being used for tool handles and flooring. It normally has a straight grain, with natural coloring ranging from white to a reddish brown.

The 5 shelves are made from birch plywood and painted in the same oil paint. The interior back panel is covered in a wool blend pinstripe suiting, with subtle cream and rust colored stripes.

The cabinet latch knob and hinges are in a polished nickel finish.
