Antique Channel Back Loveseat in Navy Wool Pinstripe

This loveseat most likely dates between 1900-1930. It features a curved, solid wood frame that was sanded smooth and oiled with a dark walnut stain. The channeled back has two rows of buttons, finishing to one row along the inside arms, and the frame edges are all finished in a double welt piping. The loose seat cushion features a down feather insert, which offers a nice padding over the 8-way hand-tied seat springs. The slightly decorated cabriole legs and serpentine front add a feminine touch, while the navy blue pinstripe wool suiting is all tailored gentleman.
